Ehsan is an architect and urban designer. His work explores the entanglements of water, governance and socio-spatial justice through design, research and teaching. Trained in Dhaka and Michigan, Ehsan has engaged with contexts of the Bengal Delta and the Great Lakes; the largest deltaic land formation and freshwater lake system of the world respectively. This has informed teaching at BRAC University and urban design consultancy with municipal governments in Bangladesh. Currently, he is Research Assistant at University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning.
